1st skip trip VERY FUN

Happy Halloween

It's all about the cute costomes and the Fun Games & Events in the community. Not so much about the candies at their age. Most candies landed in mommy's tummy :)

Let that kido burns some energy at the Gym

We attended Julia's 3rd bday party at the Gym. It's such a wonderful idea for a cold winter afternoon. Let the kids jump and run wildly, I bet they all take a long 3 hrs nap like Anson afterward.

I took my birthday off from work and just hang out with my mom and the kids. We were meeting my sis for lunch and meeting the daddies for an ordinary dinner. A simple day can be the best birthday.

Gilroy Garden, 1st Amusement park experience

Gilroy Garden is an excellent theme park for toddlers. I wouldn't say Anson totally enjoyed the rides, he was kinda nervous + very curious. The cheerful parents were trying to keep up the kids' sprit. A fun time!

Sunday SF Dinner Cruise

Original price: $54 per person x 2 = $108
We paid: $22 per person x 2 =$44 (ends up 3 ppl enjoying a nice Summer dinner cruise in SF). They serve sandwiches, fruits, pasta salad, nothing too fancy but it's all Anson's favorites.
Good Deal.

1.5 years old check up

Weight: 20 lbs (it was 19lbs + 14/15 oz but I guess the nurse just round it up to make mama happy) still 3 percentile, but Dr. doesn't even mention about the chart. Anson grows in a perfect rate. That's all Dr. Burke said.

Height: 31 inches.

"Mama, can you stop posting my messy eating pic? I now have better control eating with my fork/spoon...ok ok, I will remember to use my right hand." Anson screamed.

His favorite food: All Fruits (watermelon, blueberry, pineapple, orange) & Veggie still.

Sleeping Pattern: Goes to bed 8:30-9pm, wakes up 9am. 1 Nap 1-3pm.

In term of talking, yea, we can understand him sometimes now. He pronounce words accurately sometimes and he cracks us up when he's saying some tune that's completely wrong but he's trying.

Sydney and Melbourne Trip

I have uploaded our trip pics in my facebook. Here are some selective ones:

Sydney is a beautiful city. Sunshine + no wind the whole 3 days we were there. Melbourne is further south, closer to Antarctica so cooler. In general, everything in Oz is so calm and mellow. Both cities are super kids friendly, wonderful for family trip. The only turn off is everything is darn expensive. Food is about the same as US but the clothing and other necessities are marked up.

It's sooooo nice to see some old friends. First time we met Lok's family, member of 6. We were staying at Lok's place the whole time we were in Melbourne. He made us 3 meals a day, so nice of him. Anson so gets a long with Jed (22 mos) & Cherry (8 mos) & their 2 dogs, they definitely some great play time.

Also, I've met Ivy, my very good friend since I was 7. She took us to an upscale restaurant in Mel Casino and we had great Oz steak & lamb racks. We haven't seen each other for 10 years but we stay in good touch. Our laughs our jokes have never changed.

A 12 hours direct flight via Qantas Air is not too bad at all as Anson knows how to entertain himself & the passengers. He tooks a few hours nap, and no drama for the rest of the time. Not bad.

My boss Dave

I have been working in my current company Varian Medical Systems for 9 years. Fran started just 3 days after me and she just retired. I remember we used to take cake decorating classes, go to Boardway shows, celebrating many occasions together. I sure will miss her a lot. She inspired me about retirement planning. When I retire, I wanna be like.....that's in 30 years...hopefully.

My old family at work. We've been working together for 7+ yrs and they all treat me like their daughters. I used to be the "baby" in the department, now I'm the youngest Senior in my group.
